The cost of groceries continues to soar in North Carolina, and gas prices have risen to over $4 per gallon in many parts of North Carolina, chiefly because of President Trump’s decision to go to war with Iran.
At a rally in support of former Gov. Roy Cooper’s US Senate campaign, State Sen. Natalie Murdock said Republican nominee Michael Whatley is downplaying the cost of living crisis.
“While you’re getting hit with rising grocery, health care, and utility costs, Michael Whatley keeps telling us that costs are down,” Murdock said.
