North Carolina Sen. Woodson Bradley says the impact of looming Medicaid cuts would be “cruel and unnecessary.”
Recently, North Carolina’s Secretary of Health and Human Services Devdutta Sangvai warned the General Assembly that on Oct. 1, his agency would be forced to cut reimbursement rates to health providers for Medicaid services without legislative action.
State Sen. Woodson Bradley of Charlotte warns that this could have a long-ranging impact across North Carolina if the legislature doesn’t act, describing the impact as “cruel and unnecessary.”
